Beautiful IWC Schaffhausen Dresswatch. Very rare square model with the rare in house 62 caliber. Only 13800 movements were made. Most IWCs from that era were round calatrava models. So this is a highly collectible watch. You will have a hard time finding a second one like this. The case is unpolished with sharp edges and original finish. Crown and blued hands are original and in very good condition. The dial is also in original condition. The movement had a complete service last september. It has been stripped, cleaned, oiled and regulated. The balance axle and mainspring were replaced. The watchcase has a width of 27mm excl crown. The movement and casenumber refer to a productiondate in 1948. This watch has no waterproofness. It is 100% original IWC (the watch, not the strap). Please have a look at my other auctions.
