An exceptionally rare and beautiful pair of bedside cabinets by Robert Heritage for Archie Shine from the late 1950s. Produced as part of the Salisbury bedroom range that shared its styling with the well known Hamilton sideboard this fabulous matched pair of bedside units are a very, very rare find. Benefiting from a full professional restoration and newly lacquer finished as per original featuring richly figured and coloured mahagony with a contrasting rosewood cupboard door, signature reeded drawer front, upstand to rear, brass detailing and finished with turned legs. Only the second set Ive ever seen, the pics don’t do these justice. Just the odd blemish and mark and one tiny wax filled spot mentioned for 100% accuracy. A genuine rarity and sound investment piece. 61.5cm high x 38cm wide x 35.5cm depth. Drawer – 8cm high x 34cm wide x 32cm depth. Internal cupboard – 31cm high x 34cm wide x 32cm depth.
