I have recently acquired a beautiful collection of vintage German bathing beauties and risqué bisque laydowns and figurals. This is one of the first to be listed. This large approx 7.75 nude laydown is attributed to Galluba and Hoffman. The detail and features are detailed and exquisite. I dont see any impressed numbers or markings, it may be under the wig which is affixed to the figure. I know that these dolls due to value have been repaired over the years, but from what I have learned from very knowledgeable collectors , I do not see any evidence of damage repair to this wonderful and vintage doll. I have looked it over carefully. I do feel a slight rough edge on the nose that may be a fleck, but cant see closely enough to tell actually what it is so please assume it is present but not noticeable Please review all pics carefully and.
