The brooch is large and measures over two & a quarter inches by two inches and is all set in a quality yellow gold coloured metal which has a lovely patina, and looks to be real pinchbeck. The cameo has a pin and Cclasp working well and comes complete with a gold safety chain and dates to the victorian period and i havent cleaned, but left it as it is. This really is a beautiful victorian cameo in excellant origional complete condition and a beautiful unusual example that will delight.
