BEAUTIFUL RARE CASED ANTIQUE SOLID STERLING SILVER GILT BLADE SET OF SIX KNIVES – GORGEOUS BLUE HANDLES ORIGINAL PRESENTATION BOX – HIGH QUALITY WILLIAM HUTTON & SONS LTD HALLMARKED SHEFFIELD 1922 GOOD CONDITION GREAT GIFT! On offer is this very beautiful, rare cased antique set of six solid silver gilt knives. What makes them special, and rare, are the gorgeous blue handles. There are a multitude of different shades depending on the way the light hits them. They are very unusual, so beautiful to look at – please see the photos and they do not do them justice. This stylish set was crafted by William Hutton & Sons Ltd almost 100 years ago, hallmarked for Sheffield 1922. They come in their original fitted presentation box. In good condition overall, especially considering their age, you can imagine what a wonderful, unusual gift they would be for you to give! And remember, collecting silver is a fascinating hobby. The knives are about 16.5cm in length and weigh around 23g each. As usual, each piece will have a weighted handle. In good antique condition overall, especially considering they are nearly 100 years old. They seem to have been kept safely in their box. The only point to mention is that there is a little repair to a small area of one of the blue handles just below the blade where a piece has come away and been glued back in, only noticeable on close inspection.
