The hinge to the lid is solid and in good condition. 6 inches from tail to nose and stands a little over 4 inches tall. Overall, this inkwell has amazing eye appeal due to both the vivid colors and the gorgeous patina that comes with age. I believe it dates back to the late 1800’s/early 1900’s. All in all, it’s a truly lovely example of a camel inkwell and one that any collector would love to have!
