The edge of this Thimble has the most Wonderful applied Fleur de Lys and Scroll design around the edge. It really is a Beautiful Thimble. This comes in a Nutmeg Shape Box, that has the most amazing Hinge on the Back, The Hinge is quite impressive in a Shield Shape with Star Patterns inscribed all over. And the Pin Hinge itself really has some age to it and is fitted with 4 Silver Studs, it opens and closes nicely and inside the Box has a Velvet Lining in both sections.
