Beautiful and Rare Antique Wedgwood Pearl Ware Shell-Shaped Box from the Nautilus Collection. The cream-colored box has shades of pink and purple — as seen on the cover. The rim is a dark pink color. The cover finial is a brown curled shape. The bottom part of the box also has the different shades of pink. The box has a pedestal base. The cinched part is decorated with a brown and green color — may be representing the sea floor. The interior is a bright white color. The recessed base is impressed, “Wedgwood” with the number “721”. SIZE: 6 inches high x 7 1/2 inches long x 6 1/4 inches wide CONDITION: The box has two hairline marks with old staple repairs — as shown in two photos. The box has slight wear with very tiny dark dots (seen with a magnifying glass). The bottom part of the base, outer rim, has some wear. The box is in great condition for its age and shape — very clean and bright. Wonderful piece for a collection — great display piece.
