Antique novelty Chinese man c1880 Silver Dip Pen Beautiful. New to the market. Antique rare late Victorian c1880 solid Silver dip pen Cylindrical shaped raised hand engraved body. It is in good antique condition, as pictured it has lots of period nibs with it and is ready to go. Unusually for these dip pens this one has makers marks and Chinese hallmarks. It has been tested to confirm it has a high Silver content. Lovely collectors item, a must for any serious collection. Length huge 18.5 cm 15.5 cm without the nib. X 10mm (0.5) wide. Weighs 8.89 grams. Condition: This delightful large dip pen is in great condition with, no restoration. But a few tiny marks but amazing with it being over 144 years old. Beautiful very rare antique. I have left the silver unpolished as I feel it adds to its original character, if you wish I could polish it up to a gleaming Finnish, I will leave it for you to decide. Please note that this item is not new and will show moderate signs of wear commensurate with age. Reflections in the photograph may detract from the true representation of this item. Antique novelty Chinese man c1900 Silver Dip Pen Beautiful. New to the market. Antique rare late Victorian c1900 solid Silver dip pen Cylindrical shaped body. It is in good antique condition, as pictured it has original nibs with it and is ready to go. As is often the case with these small items of silver of this design & from this period it is not hallmarked but It has been tested to confirm it has a high Silver content. Lovely collectors item, a must for any serious collection. Length huge 17.5 cm. X 10mm (0.5) wide. Condition: This delightful large dip pen is in good condition with , no restoration. But a few small knocks along the barrel and nib holder consistent with being over 120 years old. These knocks can be polished out but I prefer to leave items showing use and character. Beautiful very rare antique. I have left the silver unpolished as I feel it adds to its original character, if you wish I could polish it up to a gleaming Finnish, I will leave it for you to decide. BEAUTIFUL RARE ART DECO SOLID SILVER BIRD TOP HAT & TAILS POUNCE POT. This is a rare very beautiful Art Deco Solid Silver Novelty Bird Pounce Pot shaker, this wonderful pounce pot dates to circa 1920, making it nearly 100 years old, the design and decoration is so very stylish and so very elegant with its push on solid silver head that has so much detailing from his fabulous hinged Top Hat that reveals the holes that you would have shaken the pounce from , wonderful beak, lovely eyes, down to his dapper bow tie, the body is crafted is a smooth rounded solid silver with his engraved feathers and wings to each side, on his back his tail gently tips upwards giving the appearance of tails, he is standing very proudly on his solid silver clawed feet , he is beautiful, so he is a top hat and tails bird silver pounce pot , the quality of the craftsmanship is superb, this would have once belonged to a wealthy Gentleman or lady and sat pride of place on there writing desk, they would have sprinkled the pounce onto the wet ink to speed up the drying process in a time when things were so very different and letter writing was done daily by hand, he is in excellent condition. There is a tiny mark to the back of his neck but so small i cant make it out, i have been informed this may be Austrian. This will add something very special to any collection, my photos dont do it.
