Beautiful little Dutch Psalm or prayerbook, richly illustrated , with fine leather binding and silver work, end 18th century. Dutch title :’Christelyke onderwijzingen en Gebeden’- published in Utrecht by Cornelis Kribber in 1780 – fine leather binding with floral details and a Cross in reliëf – with excellent silver locks and clasps, silver marked, probably from the Northern region of Holland – richly illustrated with many full page engravings – 607 pages, gold on cut – 16 x 10 x 4 cm. In excellent condition, complete, solid, inside clean. Silver should be polished. Some minor wear along the edges of the covers, but strong binding. In great antiquarian condition!
