Just in time for the holidays we are offering this beautiful antique German doll by Simon & Halbig mold #1040 with rare working pull string flirty eyes! Her head is free from any damage. She has beautiful blue flirty eyes with real fur upper lashes and lower painted lashes. She has an open mouth with row of upper teeth and nice red accents at the corners of her eyes and nostrils. She also has pierced ears with no ear flakes. She is on her original kid leather body with really nice bisque lower arms – no cracks, chips, or repairs. She is dressed in a wonderful antique dress with vintage underclothes, antique socks and shoes (left shoe buckle missing). Rare, Large Size 15 Simon Halbig 1160 Bisque Little Women Lady Doll, Beautiful! Bisque head marked on shoulder plate 1160. Known as Little Women. Fantastic original wig (see photos). Bisque is gorgeous with no cracks, chips or repairs. Beautiful facial paint and details. Hard stuffed cloth body with porcelain arms and legs. Unfortunately, one leg is broken. I never had the confidence to try to replace. I loved her unusually large size and delicate presence, regardless. I photographed with reference book so you can see the scale, so she is not confused with her tiny counterparts! This lovely lady is apparently originally, although unusually, costumed. She has what looks like a. Fabric ribbon wrapped around her torso, as a blouse, antique metal fringe pinned along her shoulders, silk skirt with sash and ribbon flowers. Reminds me of how the young original owner may adorn her lovely new treasure! She has original undergarments. Some slight melting tears on skirt along inside folds. Seldom does one see this number so large! She is suitable to display with other fashion ladies. Price reflects leg damage. This offering is for a 20 Simon & Halbig 1250 marked bisque shoulder head doll. Rare leather body model for Simon Halbig’s 1249 Santa model. Perfect bisque shoulder head has no damage or repairs. Features include large brown working sleep eyes, fine hand painted facial details, and an open mouth with four upper teeth. Her pretty blonde wig is chin length, with a short flip up style to best show the dolls face.. The ears are perfectly pierced & adorned with tiny beaded earrings. The back of the shoulder plate is marked GERMANY// S & H 1250 DEP. The full mark is not shown due to the the reinforced leather application over the marks. BODY: Kid leather body has ball jointed composition arms and hands. All fingers are present with one pinkie and one index finger restored. The body has been professionally reinforced with excellent quality vintage French leather around the neck, chest and ankles. It is sturdy with no leaks. Wears an elegant pale teal colored silk dress with a pleated bodice covered by net lacing. Gathered skirt, double-tier waist band, lace at hem. Wears a gorgeous Jumeau style matching silk hat. Very rare Simon Halbig mold – 749 DEP 8. Beautiful long dark brown hair. There was a cork pate for her. Beautiful blue stationary eyes which appear to have been re-set. Feathered eyebrows with painted lashes. Body- old no markings. Straight wrists and all the fingers look good. Some wear to paint. There is some wear to body, please enlarge pictures as they show a better description. Right top of foot needs repair. Clothes-she is wearing antique three piece undergarments which all appear to match with light pink ribbon accents. Her shoes are delicate and the back of the right one needs repair.
