Stunning and unusual black velvet and brocade bustle skirt. Very long, lush and a statement piece! Amazing piece for the collector or to wear. It has silk pleats along the bottom hem, and a brocade front or back center panel. This is the first skirt that has ever made wonder (read further). There is a spot on one side that is just cotton like the inside lining. The bottom pleats have a thick lining. There is a side slit with a large hook and no eye. There is wear to the lining and bottom hem, waistband and a piece of silk pleating is unattched. There is also a pocket that seems to be on the backside… Unless that is the front? I have seen pockets ocassionaly on the sides and front. Waist measures 23 approx. 42 down center front and down the center back. The backside maybe some what longer, as I was having a hard time measuring with my not the usual tape measure. Very long and heavy! Wonderful for display, pattern or wear.
