This is a very rare beautiful antique Georgian sepia mourning box as you can see it does have some damage to the lid and the gold panel is missing i think this could be restored back to a high standard you can see it is a very simple and very high quality witch is typical of its period as you can see this in the pictures the painting is in faultless condition and one of the best and largest i have seen the box measures 94mm long and 38,5mm wide and 21.5 tall and the painted panel is 46mm tall and 24mm wide and i would say it dates to the 1790s this is a must for the collector.
