The lid is in perfect amazing as this is over 170 years old. The red stone on the hinges lid is in perfect condition. The lid fits perfectly. A stunning piece of history and the pinnacle of scent bottle collecting. Beautiful applied coloured glass decororation. Conversion 2.5 cm = 1. Considering the age of this item it is in stunning condition. This piece is in all original pre-owned pre-loved condition as to be expected there is age related wear and marks, i have left it un cleaned and it would polish up to a gleaming shine.
