Magnificent Royal Vienna antique cabinet plate with very fine kpm quality hand painted scene of Napoleon titled Retour d Elbe signed Wagner. Border has incredible raised gold gilding with Napoleon theme symbols and decoration on a shiny cobalt blue background color. This is one of the finest and most rare Napoleon plates made by Royal Vienna. Measures 9.25 inches. Condition is excellent with no cracks or chips. Slight wear/loss at small spots but for the raised gold gilding I really on see one gold leaf on wreath near Wagner signature missing but may be a couple other very small spots I missed.
