Made in Great Britain during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1825 by clock maker John Jones of Newtown, Wales. Made to high standard, the face with wonderful applied gilt floral decoration with matched blue steel hands. A beautiful flat topped hood with fixed reeded columns and the case with lovely canted corners. This wonderful clock would have been at the very height of fashion in early Victorian England. A True Antique and masterpiece of a clock. It would stand very proud in any room. Then cabinet has a wonderful patina and glow, created over the last two centuries.
