A Rare & Beautiful 150 Year old Victorian Antique Oak Coffer. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1870 from fine quality oak. With three wonderful carved arched panels to the front, with knull notched frieze rails and a moulded lid. Flanked by lovely carved pilasters, the sides with beautiful panelling and brass carry handles. All raised on a moulded plinth base with bun and block feet. Made to a wonderful quality and to beautiful proportions, it will stand proud in any room. The oak has the most wonderful glow & pleasing patina created over the last 160 years. A wonderful piece of English history thats bursting with historic charm. Height 80 cm – Width 129 cm – depth 65 cm.
