A rare & beautiful 160 year old Victorian Antique Mahogany large fall front Bureau. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1860 to a beautiful standard. The fall front cover with beautiful brass oval lock cover revealing a lovely fitted interior with an arrangement of miniature drawers, pigeon holes and writing desk. Four long drawers fitted with later brass swing handles and escutcheons. All raised upon small swept feet to the front. Made to a wonderful standard and to lovely proportions it will stand very proud in any room. The mahogany has a lovely colour and pleasing patina created over the last 160 years. A wonderful piece of English history thats overflowing with historic charm. Height 104 cm – Width 118 cm – depth 54 cm.
