The ring is holding at its heart a stunning completely natural blue Ceylon sapphire. The sapphire is textbook cornflower blue in its color and really does capture the eye when you see it. The sapphire is very clean with no nasty dark inclusions to be seen with a very strong depth of natural color. To find a natural untreated Ceylon sapphire is getting harder and harder to find. Set all the way around this beautiful sapphire are a collection of wonderful on cushion cut white diamonds. These diamond have so much character to them. What I love about this ring is how the diamonds are slightly different sizes. There is a really quirky and adorable look to this beautiful ring. The diamonds are all old cushion cut stones. They are all very clean with no dark spots to be seen. This is a very old ring from around 1870/880 to find a Victorian Ceylon sapphire and diamond daisy ring is very rare.
