Rare Antique Silver Islamic Hexagonal Amulet Koran Scroll Box Pendant with Chain. Antique probably late 19th – Early 20th Century scroll pendant which was used to keep Koran scrolls. Decorated with calligraphic verses and geometrical patterns. It opens up at one end. It measures 8.5 cm by 1.5 cm. The weight without chain is 11.3 grams, the weight with the chain is 13.5 grams. Comes on a long 28sterling silver chain marked 925. The pendant is not marked bu tested positive for Silver, probably 800 – 900 grade silver.
