A VERY FINE antique Japanese EDO PERIOD KOZUKA handle, which fitted in a’pocket’ in a Samurai sword scabbard. This is a very fine example in mixed metals…………. The main body is in SOLID SILVER, with fine inlaid crabs in what looks like SENTOKU (The crabs are a more silvery gold colour)!!! The design has a very flowing design, with the waves the waves are carved to perfection!!! , delicately but very skilfully carried out by a master metal worker!!! Measures 96mm long, approx 14mm wide, and 5mm thick max……………. There are a few little dings and scuffs, but nothing really…………………. A quiet masterpiece and a beautiful piece!!! ………………. All this pc nonsense! Please see my other items! This item is in the category “Antiques\Asian/Oriental Antiques\Japanese\Other Japanese”.
