This is an unusual and stunning standard lamp made in turned and carved Onyx. It is a very heavy lamp, weighing about 15 Kg so it does stand very firmly. It is solid stone, basically white in colour with some pale marbling. It has a lot of ornate detailing which can be seen on the photographs. It is in good condition with no significant damage. The lamp stands about 137cm tall on a 30 cm diameter base. The detail of the design and shapes are visible on the photographs. The lamp is for collection in Stratford Upon Avon (CV37).
