Beautiful, Rare, Flapper Length, Vintage Tasmanian Maireener Shell Necklace

This is a fabulous, flapper length, antique necklace of iridescent maireener shells. The necklace would have been made in Tasmania. The shells measure approx 9 x 5mm to 7mm x 4mm. They they would be hand strung. There is a mauve cast to the shells. The condition of the necklace is good vintage. I think that it would date to the 19th or early 20th century.
