Moser, Kolmon 1890’s Wiener Werkstatte Era Exhibition 22K Gold, covered, plus hand enameled flowers, designs, 95% of the 22K Gold Embellishment intact, with original old black glass set-mount as came with! Tall Fine, excellent almost perfect rare, unique, possibly 1 of 1 for a show in 1890 to 1905 era, when Kolmon Moser & Josef Hoffmann former the “WW” school, movement! Absolutely stunning in its hand made beauty, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs, 95-97% of the 22K Gold still on this piece. Measurements are: 12.5 inches on set, 11 inches off of set, 10.25 inches deep, 5.75 inches handle to 2 handle end, 3.25 flat polished rim, body tapers down beautifully to a flared out rounded, polished base of 3.75 inches. Never seen another picture, or example, exhibition pieces mentioned in many of the Moser, Wiener Werkstatte books, usually drawings! Offering a rare antique Victorian Gold Filled Book Chain Necklace and Locket. This very large and desirable locket necklace is evocative of the Art Nouveau movement. The locket front features raised floral decoration while the back possesses an intricate and fancy mesh decoration and curlicues. Inside the locket are two tin types of men we suspect are brothers. The chain is a classic Book Chain with robust links and pierced acanthus leaf decoration which can be worn alone without the locket if so desired. A spring type “C” clasp completes the design. I suspect you will not find such a large presentation of a necklace and locket any time soon. Measuring: Pendant 2 1/4″ Tall w/o bale, 1 3/4″ Wide. The condition is near mint. No damage or wear. The gilding has taken on a mellow glow. There are no glass lenses, if there ever were any. The locket opens and closes properly. The patina is wonderful. Please see my other listings.
