Here we have a stunning large original, Art Deco period flower shaped wall hanging mirror. This is an absolutely gorgeous piece with a beautiful deco floral shape. This is absolutely top quality, it has 6 quality mirrored copper/peach tone petals around the circular convex mirror. Sorry for the poor photos, as it’s convex it was really difficult to “show it off” they just don’t do this fabulous mirror justice. It would be wonderful to see this go to someone who appreciates Art Deco and can use it in their home. It measures approximately 25 inches by 21.5 inches, weighing around 3.5kgs!! Rare & Beautiful Vtg 1930s Rose Print Bias Gown Nightdress Negligee Tea Dress 38

Rare & Beautiful Vtg 30s 40s Rose Print Bias Gown. Not originally intended for day wear but could be worn as a vintage tea dress. It’s so pretty and deserves to be seen! The lovely nightdress appears to have been made and never worn, superb condition. Stored by the original owner since the 30’s/40’s. I have another similar, made by the same lady in my other listings which is slightly larger on the waist and hips. I don’t think the fabric is silk but has a silk feel, likely rayon. With delicate frill to neckline and hemline, the hem is fashioned into a’V’ shape at the front, pink ribbon bows to shoulders. A bow tie to back. Antique white rather than paper white, with a small and delicate rose print. Please not the waist measurement, approx 34. This is an over the head to get on garment, without zips so this 34″ measurement needs to go over the larger bust (approx 36-38″), it is bias cut so some’give’ to the fabric. I managed to get it on, easing it over the bust, but needed someone to help me pull it up and off with my arms upstretched if you know what I mean! The waist can be drawn in with the tie at the back. Across front waist 17 inches. Across front hips 24 inches. A Rare & Beautiful 90 Year old Antique Oak Buffet Sideboard. C 1930s

A Rare & Beautiful 90 Year Old Antique Oak buffet Sideboard. Made in England during the reign of Kong George V in around 1930 to a beautiful standard. The wonderful moulded top over a blind fretwork frieze above four beautifully panelled outward opening doors. With lovely 1930s brass pull handles enclosing shelves. Above long cutlery drawers with brass pull handles and moulded edges. All raised upon beautifully carved baluster legs with central stretcher shelf, terminating large carved bun feet. During the 1930s Mr John McMeeking, was the managing director of lace manufacturers, A C Gill limited of Fletcher gate, Nottingham. He had this sideboard made for his dinning room at The End House, Pembroke Drive, Nottingham with the frieze to match the fireplace. Made to beautiful large proportions and to a wonderful standard, It will stand very proud in any room. The oak has a wonderful colour and rich patina created over the last 90 years. A wonderful piece of English history thats overflowing with charm. Height 139 cm – Width 169 cm – depth 56 cm.
