Rare Victorian Architects Artist Plan Chest Possibly Arts and Crafts. This is a beautiful example of a plan chest with lovely age related patina. The are lots of knocks and bumps but this is just age related wear and tear, that adds to its charm. The original stain/lacquer is still in evidence and it has been lovingly waxed with Liberon polish and has a lovely depth of colour. This plan chest is very heavy and has been put on industrial castors to make it easier to move about but these could easily be removed or replaced with more vintage looking ones.
