Clearing out my Aunts house and sadly have to sell her furniture. Here we have a beautiful 19th Century (approx 1880) Large Bamboo Bookcase/ Glass cabinet. Its in lovely used condition – with the usual age related wear and tear, scuffs and marks. Measurements are Width 93cms Height 106cms Depth 30cms. The only defects that I can see are. 2 thin beads of bamboo that go either side of the glass door pane are missing…. Should be easy to source / replace/. One of the little original door knobs is missing… Again should be easy to source or replace with 2 new matching ones… The original lock and key is there. Collect from Folkestone Kent. Rare Beautiful Chinoiserie Style Bamboo Antique Watnot/Corner Unit with Mirrors. A Beautiful Late Victorian Painted Watnot A beautiful late Victorian era bamboo watnot with 2 small mirrors to back. Very much in the chinoiserie taste. Painted a blue green colour. The paint is fairly old too, not sure if original to the piece but certainly has age crackling all over. Some chips etc as shown but still a lovely piece and quite a rare one. Measurements approx: 163cm high x 61cm wide x 37cm deep.
