Rare Antique Majolica Cobalt Server with Chestnut Leaf & Bird Handle Beautiful

Pictured here is a lovely and rare antique majolica deep server with a large chestnut leaf covering the bottom. For a handle it has a sweet little bird with it’s wings outstretched. The bird is sitting on the chestnut tree branch which twines around the cobalt blue background. His wing has been repaired. We marked a small crack and some kiln shrinks in the last photos. The underside is mottled with a round base. We believe this is American made and dates to around 1880. There is no maker’s mark and there is a tiny rubbed spot on the point of the plate. Please enjoy the photos for the best look. This is a hard one to find especially in this condition, and will display well. Measurements are: 10 w. X 4 ½ tall to the top of the bird’s head. Beautiful Rare Antique Chinese Bird & Blossom Hand Painted Porcelain Pendant. Here is the most beautiful rare antique chinese porcelain pendant. The pendant is large measuring just over two inches square & is all set in gilt so yellow gold in colour. The pendant has a nice engraved edge & is then inset with the most beautiful porcelain plaque which has a delightful hand painted scene of a bird on a branch in a blossom tree or similiar, painted in fine quality detail. The pendant comes with a good size bail for attatching a chain & unfortunately there is no makers marks on the porcelain, but this pendant is antique & looks to origionate from china. This really is a beautiful pendant in very good origional complete condition that looks lovely worn & a lovely early rare example of these. I love antique jewellery, so hope that you to can appreciate my items, that have been pre loved with history.
