Antique Edwardian Floral Apple Blossoms Dress Fabric Rare! This lovely, larger scale design in pink apple blossoms and white daisies printed cotton fabric feels much like a batiste. It has the most airy, featherweight feel with a very fine weave. It might be just slightly heavier than a true batiste. See photo #3 to view the extra fine weave when held to the light. Keep in mind this is a semisheer fabric and the colors will appear rich when placed over a white backing as shown in the photos and much more subtle in color without a backing. With it’s wispy, lightweight beautiful spring/summer blossoms pattern, it was most likely made for summer dresses or skirts or even blouses in the Edwardian era. It’s simply Gorgeous!
