The beautiful four panelled heavy hinged lid lifts to reveal a spacious interior. The coffer with wonderful carved lozenge shaped decoration to the front recessed fielded panels. With wonderful moulded rails, all raised upon stile feet. Made to wonderful large proportions, a true antique that would grace any room. The oak has a wonderful rich glow & pleasing patina created over the last three centuries. A wonderful piece of English history thats bursting with historic charm.
