A Rare & Beautiful 100 Year Old Antique Oak Barley Twist Bergere Cane Chair Set. Made in England during the reign of King George V in around 1920 to a beautiful standard. With wonderful carved backrest with barley twist supports topped with finials and a Bergere cane panel. The base with carved rails and Bergere cane seat pad and raised on beautiful barley twist supports united by stretchers. The set also includes a slightly larger matching carver chair with armrests. Made to a lovely standard and proportions they’d stand proud in any room. We don’t believe in the usual huge mark ups.
