For sale today we have this Beautiful & Rare William Moorcroft for James Macintyre Florian Peacock Feather pattern vase. Of twin handled form the vase is beautifully tubelined in an Art Nouveau style with tall and slender Peacock feathers inset with delicate Forget-Me-Not flowers and borders of stylised foliage that cover the entirety of the piece. Fish scale border to the inner neck rim. Coloured to the classic Florian Blue on Blue colourway. This gorgeous vase stand 5″ tall x 4″ wide, hand signed “W Moorcroft des” along with a stamped Florian mark and Reg design number. Dates to circa 1901. Rare Old Austria Wax Pretty Lady Doll Beauty on Feather Bed Candy Container Box

This hard to find piece is in overall very good condition and marked Austria. This wax doll sits about 6 1/2 tall on the cardboard box. She is 8 long measuring from head to toe. The box is 8 1/2″ long x 5 3/4″ x 2 tall. Small wear to the cardboard edges at the closure. The box is rather domed in the center and covered with actual bird feathers (her feather bed). Although there are a couple of small bare feathers, it is mostly covered. Her clothing is in very nice shape with only a small bit of yellowing due to age. No holes or tears. Oddly, her hands are discolored with not much detail. Her feet and shoes are nice. Her limbs are attached by wires (see pics). Regardless, she is sturdy and is wired on to the lid. It probably would have been difficult to make her in one piece with this bent pose. A small label (Austria) is placed over the gathered wire underneath the lid.
