A Rare & Beautiful extremely tall Antique French Armoire Wardrobe. Made in France during the roaring 1920’s to a lovely standard and grand proportions. With a heavily carved crowing pediment over a large and heavy central door with framed bevelled mirror. Flanked by panelled sections with decorated porcelain plaques to the centre, all raised on a plinth base. This wardrobe stands at around 260 cm tall so will require the tallest of rooms to fit. As is usual with French design the wardrobe is effectively antique flat pack and is split into a number of pieces that bolt together making it easy to assemble upstairs and move around. “Feel Free to Make An Offer” – and we’ll do our very best to accept it. We never mind a haggle and love to do deal and if we can’t quite squeeze that low then we’ll just make a counter offer. Made to wonderful large proportions, it would grace any room. Due the item only just arriving and with a high level of interest we’ve not been able to photograph the item yet due to height issues. We plan to photograph outside as soon as possible. Together with a wonderfully large matching antique French dressing table with fluted tapering legs, a central drawer flanked by smaller drawers with panelled fronts and brass handles. The kidney shaped top with moulded edges and a very heavy set framed bevelled triptych mirror resting on top. We don’t believe in the usual huge mark ups. The wardrobe and dressing table have been painted in a distressed white and have a lovely colour and patina created over the last 100 years..
