FRENCH LINEN METIS SHEET. Dimensions: 190 cm x 300 cm. (74 inches x 118 inches). It has a white embroidered monogram in the upper middle: GD? There is a wonderful hand-made lace rim around the upper part. Also it is decorated with fine ladderwork. It weighs 1.300 kg! Is a white creamy colour. Genuine linen and coton cloth, heavy, organic. And is in perfect condition. It might have light storage marks. That will wash away easily. Perfect for healthy sleep. Cool in summer, warm in winter. Wonderful also for projects. Contains roses, lilies, irises, tulips, lilacs, daffodils, and other small flowers. In tones of pink, rose, blue, white, and yellow with green leaves. With printed rows of stripes in roses and leaves and other flowers in the ground color of the natural linen. There is also a secondary stripe effect with intersecting scrolls and small flowers. Stunning French toile de Jouy linen toile de Nantes c 1800 fabric panel all hand quilted. Antique c1800s toile de nantes. Extremely beautiful in good condition considering age the odd small hole to repair and a few minor pin pricks /marks…. A Readymade panel some rough edges. Ideal interior project beautiful interior fabric for sale 100/47cms. This lovely textile toile was printed in France. It appears to have been printed using roller printing techniques. The toile fabric was produced c1800. This pelmet is hand quilted and has a wadding and rustic homespun linen lining. This panel was created to use as part of a bedding set and appears to have been very lightly used. The backing is a homespun linen/cotton mediumweight. The front toile is a finely woven linen. The bottom is scalloped. Lovely for any textile collection! There is one edge raw. CONDITION: This piece is in lovely condition for its age. It is gently faded with time There are a couple of small holes in the front fabric and some small storage marks , but generally in lovely condition. The backing linen is in good condition commensurate with age. An absolutely charming antique French fabric dating c1800. This textile was once used in a french Chateau, maison bourgeoise. Please see above and photographs for condition details. Condition is very good for its age. This panel looks fantastic…. Dans son jus, a good honest item more than 200 years old rescued from a chateau in the south west of France.
