A Rare & Beautiful 220 Year Old George III Antique Oak Mule Chest. Made in England during the reign of King George III 1790 to a lovely standard from fine quality oak. With a beautiful moulded top over three fielded panels and brass escutcheons. The base fitted with two short drawers finished with brass swing handles and escutcheons. All raised on a plinth base with later castors fitted. Made to wonderful proportions, it would grace any room. The oak has a wonderful glow and pleasing patina created over the last 220 years. A wonderful piece of English history thats bursting with historic charm. Height 88 cm – Width 146 cm – depth 54 cm.
