A BEAUTIFUL RARE PERIOD ORIGINAL WIENER WERKSTATTE CENTRAL HANGING LAMP. The lamp cord hangs from the ceiling in the centre of the lamp. This is an original lamp made from solid brass nickle plated, silk shade, with original supporting black cords. Every aspect of the design is typical of the wiener werkstatte period. Circa 1900/1910 particularly the designs of Josef Hoffmann. It is in good condition the silk lining has been restored copying the original fragments taken from the lamp.
