RARE 1880’s VICTORIAN 18CT YELLOW GOLD CARBUNCLE GARNET + DIAMOND PENDANT 4.8g

This is a Stunning and Rare piece of Victorian Gold and Gemstone Jewellery. Dating from about 1880 it is a slightly curved Pendant made in Richly Coloured 18ct Yellow Gold featuring an Elaborate Scrollwork pattern throughout with a Pointed design to the bottom and a medium sized Bail at the top so it can go on a Chain. The Pendant is set with a Pear Shaped Carbuncle Garnet Cabochon containing some Beautiful Natural Colour Flaws inside it above an old Cut Round Diamond. As is common with Victorian Jewellery there is no Hallmark and just some Jeweller’s Marks as photographed on the back but it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content is 18ct. It weighs 4.8g, measures 33mm long x 20mm wide, the Garnet measures 15mm long x 12mm wide and the Diamond is 3mm diameter. The Pendant is in a used and good condition for its age with just some minor surface wear. As can be seen especially in the last photo there are a few small scratches in the top of the Garnet which is to be expected with a piece of this age. It might be possible to have these polished out if required but to be honest they are not really noticeable when the piece is being worn only when it it is being closely looked at so I don’t believe they detract too much from such an amazing piece of Victorian Jewellery. As is common with this kind of claw setting the Garnet rattles ever so slightly but there is no danger of it coming out and it is only mentioned for accuracy. RARE BEAUTY! 19th C Sheet Copper 3D Weathervane w Stand Native American Arrow

For sale is a RARE! And highly unique antique 19th Century metal smith Handmade sheet copper weathervane in the primitive form of a Native American with his bow and arrow. He has great details in muscle tone as well as a head decoration made with three large feathers. His bow is fully open and the arrow ready to fly! Very balanced and dynamic posture. The design is 3D in the sense that the body is made with two layers of copper and are soldered together with a hollowed interior. This means that you can see his right hand holding the tensioned string on one side and have that hand hidden when viewing it from the other side. See photos for the perspective of both sides. The metal has nice and even oxidation. The supporting iron bars are solid and sit on a custom made wooden block stand. It measures approximately 30″ tall and about 21″ wide from the top of the arrow to the other end of the horizontal bar. The wood block measures 14″ by 4″ by 3. The weathervane is in excellent antique condition. No damages or repairs is found anywhere. Overall, a great high class display item for an antique/art collector’s home. Beautiful Rare Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth Oil Lamps on WT&S Candlesticks

Beautiful Pair of Antique Royal Doulton Lambeth Oil Lamps on WT&S Candlesticks. Where do I start with these! The lamp bowls are Royal Doulton Lambeth 1884 stamped on the underside. The burners however are marked Gaudard. I assume these were added later. As you can see in the very last photo, one of them has been attached poorly and there is a gap, giving the lamp an uneven appearance. I would imagine this is a fairly easy fix with the right tools. Both advancers work, but only one has a wick. The candlesticks are actually antique William Tonks & Sons candlesticks! The lamps can be taken out and the brass collars put in their place, turning them into regular candlesticks. So I really don’t know what the history is. Regardless, the lamps are beautiful pieces of pottery, and you probably won’t see another pair of lamps quite like these. Please not the “oddities” and ask if you have any questions. Please study the pictures so I you aren’t surprised by anything when you get them! Truly lovely looking and feeling lamps.
