The edges of the boards are scalloped on all three sides. There is some slight fading on the spine, and some general shelf wear. But the leather is fully intact, and the boards are sturdy. Binding is tight and square, with clean white pages. Each page has an elaborately illustrated border, and there are a few full-page illustrations with tissue guards. Written entirely in French, this is a fantastic old Missel!
