SADLY I WAS NOT THIS PERSON’S FIRST VICTIM! This beautiful antique doll from Dressel & Kloch is a rare find that will make a lovely addition to any collection. With the company Only in production for 3 years making these dolls as rare as hens teeth. She has Beautiful long brown straight real hair wig, honey amber brown fixed glass eyes, and light complexion, this girl doll is 18 inches long and has a straw & wood block body. The doll also features painted boots, & still wears her original corset and pantaloons, her eyes must have once came lose along her life as someone has fixed with an awful lot of glue, I have cleaned her a little but more work is needed! I think she has a small chip out of under her right eye but the glue is quite thick there, apart from that and a small hole on her leg she’s in beautiful condition for age! A beautiful genuine antique, and is signed by the artist. With dept 1 and a 1 on top end of head. Rare Small Antique Sonnenberg French Doll in Beautiful Silk Costume

A sweet little Sonnenberg (or Sonneberg) doll measures only about 9 ¾ high. She’s got a perfect full round Belton type bisque head with a flange neck on her original 5-piece body. The little German girl was made to imitate the French bebe of the day and she really does have French bebe look! Her adorable expression with wide, early spiral blue glass eyes and a closed mouth; her multi-stroke eyebrows match nicely to her vintage human hair ringlet wig. She is dressed in a beautiful light pink silk dress in the antique style with lots of lace. Under it she wears a cute onsie that has full bloomers. A big ivory and pink silk hat trimmed in lace are a great match to her outfit, then she has tiny white socks with tiny black shoes. She, including her clothing, have been cleaned so she is without any odors. Her head head with a flange neck is in good condition without any cracks, hairlines, breaks or repairs. Her head is still on the original French wooden and composition body which has a crack in the composition on one foot and the other foot was glued back on many years ago. Of course these few small flaws are unseen with her fabulous French silk costume on. Her stringing is fine so her head can move from side to side, and her arms can stay up and her legs can be moved back and forth. I have her head stuffed with cotton so her big fancy silk hat can be easily pinned on through the hole opening without gluing anything down. She was made in Germany for the French market and as such is considered to be a little Frenchie. A little harder to find in this small size. The is an adorable little bebe is being offered at a lower price than what they generally sell for because of the few body issues.
