Caselli thermometer, mercury in glass with a long slender stem and a bulb at one end, the bulb is filled with mercury. The stem is marked with a scale that indicates temperature. I haven’t been able to identify tjhis thermometer exactly by the unit number. There are still a good number of jourmals / catalogs available on the internet, which should help. Caselli was a large company, producing many types of scientific instruments. If anyone knows about this particular model, I’d really appreciate if they would share this with me. I BOUGHT THIS RING AS A CORNFLOWER BLUE SAPPHIRE, AND SUBSEQUENT TESTING IDENTIFIES IT AS SUCH. Internal Diameter Across (parallel to the ring face) 18mm UK: P/US: 8/EU: 56 1/4. Sapphire Dimensions: 12mmX10.5mm. 6 Rose Cut Diamonds: each approximately 3 points. Ring Face: 16mmX16mm Depth: 7mm. Here for sale is an extraordinarily rare, truly exceptional, authentic 18ct gold and sterling silver mounted approximately 6.50ct natural Unheated blue sapphire and diamond George III era dress ring. The sapphire most likely originates from Ceylon. The Georgian period was an exciting, vibrant and prosperous period; it was a time of excess, and high society hedonism, where both men and women of wealth and status wore extravagant costume and jewels. This stunning ring would have belonged to someone of wealth and status. Dating to the last quarter of the 18th century, the sapphire is most likely foiled as typical of the period, with the sapphire hand faceted in the antique’old cut’ style, and set in the characteristically Georgian domed, closed back and pinched collet mount, a characteristic of Georgian gem-setting. The cup mounted sapphire is set into a raised gallery of sterling silver openwork, this studded with 6 beautifully sparkly, open backed, rose cut diamonds. The sturdy ring shank is 18ct gold and decorated all round in a stylised embossed floral design, typical of the decorative Georgian aesthetic. This unique jewel represents a rare opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike: it is a wholly handcrafted work of exceptionally precious art, and would have been commissioned by a customer of great wealth. It remains in excellent antique condition, remarkable for its 220-240 years, and is suitable for immediate wear. Beautiful Royal Vienna porcelain cup and saucer dating to the late 18th century. Similar to the scenes found on Meissen pieces from this period and earlier. The matching saucer has a hand painted landscape. Marked on bottom of both pieces Royal Vienna blue beehive mark. Measurements: saucer 5.25 inches diameter and cup 2.5 inches high & 3.5 inches from handle to opposite rim. Condition good with gold wear around rims. Chip on underside of foot rim of cup. I ONLY SELL ANTIQUES AND MANY ARE OVER 100 PLUS YEARS OLD AND HAVE NORMAL USE WEAR. PLEASE USE PHOTOS FOR CONDITION.

A stunning, rare item; this Early 20th century pig is so sweet, the fine hair detailing is exquisite, with gorgeous little cabochon ruby eyes. Made from 18 carat gold, this would look amazing displayed on a gold charm bracelet or suspended from a chain as a pendant. Unmarked (consistent with age): tested as just over 18ct gold, 750. Measures: 13mm x 24mm x 7mm approx. Ruby eyes measure 1mm approx. Weight: 8.50 grams. Exellent condition, especially for it’s age; very very slight loss of detailing from rubbing on the thighs of the legs, please see photographs. Please note that the antique box used in the photographs is not included and is a photography prop only.
