RARE BEAUTIFUL OLD VIOLIN see VIDEO VIOLINO ANTIQUE 972

Nicely crafted instrument, with masterly carved scroll and accurately inlaid purfling. Mother of pearl inlays in the back. There’re no open cracks or open seams, and naturally some marks in it´s old amber varnish. The table is medium to fine grained spruce and the back, as well as ribs and neck, is nicely flamed maple. It was repaired in our workshop and receive d new set up with newly fitted elder ebony pegs, new ebony tailpiece and chinrest, a new bridge, new soundpost and new strings. These are new German silver wound steel core strings with good projection, easy to play while allowing rapid performance. We use these strings on mostly all of our violins to provide a comparison of the tonal qualities of each instrument in the videos. In any case a new owner should consider higher quality strings of own personal preference to enhance the full character of this violin! Beautiful quality instrument in immediate playing condition!
