Antique novelty Chinese man c1880 Silver Dip Pen Beautiful. New to the market. Antique rare late Victorian c1880 solid Silver dip pen Cylindrical shaped raised hand engraved body. It is in good antique condition, as pictured it has lots of period nibs with it and is ready to go. Unusually for these dip pens this one has makers marks and Chinese hallmarks. It has been tested to confirm it has a high Silver content. Lovely collectors item, a must for any serious collection. Length huge 18.5 cm 15.5 cm without the nib. X 10mm (0.5) wide. Weighs 8.89 grams. Condition: This delightful large dip pen is in great condition with, no restoration. But a few tiny marks but amazing with it being over 144 years old. Beautiful very rare antique. I have left the silver unpolished as I feel it adds to its original character, if you wish I could polish it up to a gleaming Finnish, I will leave it for you to decide.
