Rare one of a kind handmade antique Edwardian / Art Nouveau moonstone. Glowing oval cabochon moonstone or moonstone like gems – each just a little irregular or imperfect in shape, just the way good old hand cut old stones should be. High grade valuable transparent stones with a watery blue sheen – often called lush blue or clear blue in color – all perfectly matched. Framed in their own custom fit open back bezel. Fitted with fantastic hinges between each jewel. Perfectly forms to the wrist. Leaf shaped and detailed chain links form the remainder of the bracelet. Tulip shaped box insert clasp. Each and every stone, detail, piece of metal work is special and unique it it’s own way. Ready and waiting for your wrist, collection, or gift giving. ESTIMATED AGE OR ERA = True original authentic antique. Pre-dates the metal stamping act of 1906. Broadly guessing late 1800’s to early 1900’s in age – Edwardian or Art nouveau in style with the subtle floral motif. METAL AND/OR MATERIAL = Genuine finest grade gemstones – I believe they are high grade moonstone or very close relative and 925/1000 content (tested) sterling silver. = Box insert clasp. MARKS = None that I could find. MEASUREMENTS = Wearable length (not counting the portion of the clasp that inserts) of 7 3/4″ – largest / middle cab is 5/8″ tall x 3/8″ wide and they graduate or taper down in size to the end / smallest stones that are aprox 3/8″ tall x 1/4 wide. Leaf patterned chain is 1/8 wide. US RING SIZE = x. WEIGHT = 9.7 grams on my scale. CONDITION = Fantastic condition for the age – no damage or quirks found to mention. There are some natural inclusions to the stones as one would expect – but amazingly enough no chips, cracks, etc. To any of the gems to speak of.
