Beautiful Antique 9ct Gold & Rare 2ct Alexandrite Earrings. Here is the most beautiful pair of antique gold & rare alexandrite earrings. The earrings measure nearly 9mm in diameter are all set in quality yellow gold, with a lovely rosey patina to the gold which is not marked where i can see but tested & guarranteed of at least 9ct gold but probably higher. The earrings are in a unusual early engraved deep basket style galleried solitaire setting with lovely engravings. In the setting is the most stunning alexandrite, which is circular & measures of approx 2ct or 9mm each stone in diameter. Looking at the earrings now its purple/blue, & then pink but i just couldnt pick this up in the photos, but these earrings will delight as the settings is just like the cocktail rings. These earrings are for pierced ears & they are antique dating to around the 1940s and as with age may have nibbles to the edges, but certainly nothing that i can see that detracts in any way, see pics & the earrings are pro sanitized for wear. These really are the most beautiful antique 9ct gold & alexandrite earrings in very good origional complete condition that looks beautiful worn and such a beautiful eyecatching example.
