Beautiful Antique Victorian Girl’s Doll – Bisque Porcelain – Leather Bodied – Rare. Elegant Girl’s Doll from the Victorian Age. It is leather bodied and the head, forearms and legs below the knee are all made from bisque porcelain. The eyes actually close when she is laid flat and open when she is lifted upright. The arms and legs each have 2 joints. One arm was repaired by the Worthing Dolls’ Hospital in 1989 (please see the included letter in photo 8). The clothes included with this Victorian doll were specially made in 1989 by a doll dresser. They consist of a Hat, Lined Jacket, Lined Skirt, Boots, Socks, Pantaloons, Petticoat, a Neck Tie and a Long Sleeved Blouse. The Doll is Approx 41 cm (16 inches) in Height.
