These show all the obvious signs that they are real. Typical old base does not have casting holes. Paint from the sides has dripped down over the edges of the base like on these you will see. Shows fine brush strokes on the muzzle and two dog’s are never painted the same like these two. Most gold trim used on original dogs has a softer appearance than new gold trim & rarely has a mirror-like reflection, it is usually dull and almost always shows some random wear. The One to the right has some damage-either from it’s age or it took a bump at some point it’s very long life. The good news is-it looks to have never come apart into pieces-it’s tight and this area and not at all loose or coming apart. If you look at the detailed photo’s at the bottom with “small stick on green arrows” you will see where the damage suddenly stops. This is the only area of damage to both dogs.
