This is a fantastic looking and quite rare, large 19th Century wooden hourglass. It measures 1 hour and seems to be very accurate. The wood on the two ends has shrunk slightly on the sides against the grain = very common in early pieces. It measures fully 12″ tall one of the ends measures 6″ wide x 5 3/4 wide. The other end measures 5 3/4″ wide x 5 1/2″ wide. It’s in very good antique condition and the hour glass portion works work. Please see photos for condition and design.
