THIS LOVELY OLD VERY RARE EARLY STERLING SILVER [full English hallmarks for Birmingham late 1800’s] PADLOCK CLASP FOR A CHARM BRACELET It is very pretty and measures 7/8ths of one inch high and has lovely detailing, this is the earliest type of ratchet padlock I have come across, they are usually much later, this type doesn’t require a key the top loop pushes in with a ratchet action and is very secure, pretty shape too, the padlock has a gorgeous patina, or would polish up; brightly, nice old one, looks fabulous on…….
