SOLID 9CT GOLD ANTIQUE WATCH KEY, FOB, TEE BAR- SET WITH A BLOODSTONE INTAGLIO SEAL. A fantastic find, weighing approx 6 grams (5.9), this watch KEY was tested by our jeweller with an electronic tester and although there are no hallmarks it is solid 9 ct gold, the jeweller suggested that it was a hand made piece? – and was obviously never sent for assay. Inside the “business end” is a steel sleeve insert, as the gold would apparently have been too soft to have been used to wind a watch without getting worn and damaged. And it gets better! Set into the other end, is a carved, BLOODSTONE INTAGLIO, featuring a dove in flight, – beautifully carved. This is not a tiny little thing either, a good one and a half inches long, my jeweller commented that these larger keys he had seen on ANTIQUE WATCH chains being used as a “tee bar” threaded through the button hole and holding the weight of the watch and chain, – I found this interesting.

Royal Kaga Nippon Japanese Porcelain Creamer. This is a Beautiful piece, & I suspect a rare one. Fantastic scenes which I believe are hand-painted in rich colors, all adorned with gold accents. Regarding age, its my understanding that Nippon marked Japanese china was made from 1891 – 1921 – so this falls in that period. Very good vintage condition – only one very tiny chip on inside of spout – see photos. 3″ h x 4.5″ w. Sorry, no sales outside the U.

THIS LOVELY OLD VERY RARE EARLY STERLING SILVER [full English hallmarks for Birmingham late 1800’s] PADLOCK CLASP FOR A CHARM BRACELET It is very pretty and measures 7/8ths of one inch high and has lovely detailing, this is the earliest type of ratchet padlock I have come across, they are usually much later, this type doesn’t require a key the top loop pushes in with a ratchet action and is very secure, pretty shape too, the padlock has a gorgeous patina, or would polish up; brightly, nice old one, looks fabulous on……. Zoom in on the close up pics – as you can see it displays beautifully! …… And is one of a number of lovely old vintage and antique jewellery items I have listed…..
