A Rare & Beautiful 190 Year Old Georgian Antique Mahogany Chest on Chest of Drawers. Made in England during the reign of King George III in around 1830 to a lovely standard. The top section With a beautiful moulded cornice above a deep frieze with two short drawers over three long drawers with beautiful brass handles. Flanked by carved pilasters. The base fitted with three long drawers with brass handles. All raised upon shaped bracket feet. Made to wonderful proportions theyd stand proud any room. The mahogany has a wonderful glow and pleasing patina created over the last 190 centuries. A wonderful piece of English history thats bursting with historic charm. As expected with it age, lots of wear and tear including losses to veneer and trim. Few slats missing from the back but unseen. Solid, functional and stunning.
